Help keep the City's parade coverage team operating safely and efficiently during the Heritage & Freedom Fest Parade! This volunteer will support the Communications team by delivering water, spare batteries, and other supplies to camera operators stationed along the parade route.
As a Parade Media Support Runner, you'll play an important role in helping staff stay hydrated, prepared, and safe while covering the event. You'll regularly check on camera operators throughout the parade and communicate any concerns to event staff.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver water and supplies to Communications staff along the parade route
- Assist with transporting spare camera batteries and equipment as needed
- Check on staff members throughout the event and report any concerns
- Walk the parade route as needed to provide support
- Assist with other Communications team needs during the event
Requirements:
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer weather
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Friendly and willing to assist wherever needed
- No media or technical experience required
