Grants and Assistance
The Public Assistance Department administers grants used to revitalize neighborhoods, expand affordable housing and economic opportunities, and improve community facilities and services to benefit low-to-moderate income persons. Current programs include Down Payment Assistance, Interior and Exterior Home Repair, Mobile Home Repair, and Emergency Homeless Prevention.

Special Needs Locator Program
The O’Fallon Police Department has implemented a Special Needs Locator Program for its residents and surrounding areas. Information in this confidential database will assist officers in locating an individual with a cognitive disorder who has become lost, disoriented, or is unable to effectively communicate. Registration may include individuals living with, but not limited to, Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, Autism, Huntington Disease, or Cerebral Palsy.

Housing Resource Fair
Saturday, June 13, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Krekel Civic Center, 305 Civic Park Drive
The Housing Resource Fair offers focused strategies for anyone looking for a new place to live. Information presented at the fair will cover topics like buying, selling, renting, preapproval, credit repair, and down payment assistance. Admission and parking are free.
