Honor the heroes of 9/11 by giving a gift that saves lives. A single blood donation can help up to three people in need, making it one of the most meaningful ways to serve your community. Join us to turn remembrance into action. Honor the past. Save a life. Donate blood.
Whole Blood Donation - Simply, the blood that flows through your veins. It contains red cells, white cells, and platelets, suspended in plasma. This type of donation is the standard type.
Double Red Cell Donation - Only your red blood cells are collected and not your platelets or plasma. This type of donation is done using a machine process called automation.
