REMEMBRANCE WALK

- 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. - Set-up & Registration
- 8:30 to 9 a.m. - Patriot Day Ceremony
- 9 to 9:30 a.m. - 1-mile Remembrance Walk
We walk to remember them. We walk to honor them. We walk for the heroes of September 11, 2001.
On September 11, 2001, there were 2,977 people who died in the horrific attacks that changed our country forever. We promised not to forget, and we haven’t.
The morning begins at 8:30 a.m. with the Patriot Day Ceremony, followed by a 1-mile walk as we honor the lives lost, recognize courage, and reflect on the strength of our nation. Walk with us to ensure we never forget.
Prior to the start of the walk, pick up photos and stories of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice when they ran into the danger to help others, along with a handheld American flag (limited supply).
O'FALLON REMEMBERS.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:
- Set-up and Registration: setup tables, register participants, hand out photos and flags [FULL]
- Walker: walk the 1-mile route to remember our fallen heroes
REQUIREMENTS:
- REGISTRATION REQUIRED
- Volunteers younger than 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
