What We Do
Consisistently recognized as one of the safest cities in Missouri, our community appreciates the officers of the O'Fallon Police Department.
Citizen volunteers actively respond and assist these officers in roles that strengthen emergency readiness, youth development, and community care.
In addition to several events and community outreach projects, ongoing programs include:
- The Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) program trains residents and members of community organizations and workplaces in basic response skills. These volunteer teams are then integrated into the emergency response capability for their area. City of O'Fallon, MO
- The Police Explorers Post 2943 provides local youth (ages 14.5-20) with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and explore a future career in law enforcement while volunteering alongside police officers at various community events. City of O'Fallon, MO
- The Police Chaplain program provides volunteer-based emotional and spiritual support to officers, staff, and community members during times of crisis, loss, or critical incidents. Chaplains serve as a compassionate presence and a resource for comfort and connection.
