(SUPPLY DRIVE ONLY)

Join Volunteer O’Fallon as we help stock local shelves and support our neighbors. Help us collect nonperishable food items to help restock local food pantries with essentials like shelf stable milks, boxed meals, nut butters, cereals and oatmeal.

O'FALLON'S 26th ANNUAL MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY (Established in 2001)

Saturday, November 7th, 2026

Projects: 9 to 11 a.m.

Picnic: 11 a.m. to noon

Make a Difference Day is your opportunity to roll up your sleeves and make O’Fallon shine! Join volunteers as we tackle hands-on environmental projects that help create greener spaces and a stronger community. Together, we can make a lasting difference. Pre-registration is required.

AVAILABLE PROJECTS: 

Flower removal - Assist landscaping in cleaning up all of the flower beds around town, at our parks and facilities. This is necessary to ensure healthy beds for next year's blooms.Other beautification projects - These projects could include roadside, park, and creek cleanups.

Once projects conclude, we will celebrate everyone's hard work at the Make A Difference Day BBQ! Join us for food, drinks, and small tokens of appreciation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Family Volunteer Day

Bring joy to others this holiday season by volunteering on National Family Volunteer Day. Families are invited to spend the morning working together to sort and box food and personal care items donated through the Cornucopia of Care Food Drive, which are then delivered to local pantries supporting.

Volunteer Position:

Sorting and packing food donationsassist with delivering items (if you are interested in this, please send us an email after you register for the event)

Volunteer Requirements:

Must be 15 years or older (unless with an adult)

YOUTH SEMESTER OF SERVICE

Youth Semester of Service gives youth, schools, scout troops, clubs, sports teams, and other community youth groups the opportunity to make a difference through a private volunteer project with the City of O'Fallon. Contact a Volunteer Services staff member to create and schedule a project during the current school semester. Examples of projects include park cleanups, creek cleanups, landscaping projects, and more!

Fall Semester 2026: Schedule a project between September through December.Spring Semester 2027: Schedule a project between January through May.
